The coin has a face value of 2000 CFA francs and is struck from 2 troy ounces (62.2 g) of 0.999 fine silver as the second release in the Echoes of Egypt series dedicated to ancient Egyptian mythology. The reverse depicts Maat, the goddess of truth, justice, and cosmic order, seated with majestic wings spread wide behind her while holding the ankh, symbol of eternal life, and a staff representing divine authority; above her rises the sacred feather of truth. The composition is enriched with a golden hieroglyphic disc, pyramids, temples, and landscapes along the Nile, while subtle color accents enhance the depth and atmosphere of the design. The obverse features the coat of arms of Cameroon together with the inscriptions “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN,” “2000 FRANCS CFA,” “2 OZ AG 999,” and the national motto “PAIX - TRAVAIL - PATRIE.” Produced with an Antique Finish, the coin measures 45 mm in diameter and has a strictly limited mintage of only 500 pieces. The release is presented in a display case with a Certificate of Authenticity.
