The reverse design acquired oriental motifs: the grass and egg that were in the legs of the bird were replaced by bamboo stems and leaves at the edges. The size has also changed. 2017 Rooster is one of the most voluminous coins, it has a diameter of 39.34 mm and a thickness of 2.5 mm. For comparison: the instance of the first series was 32.1 mm in diameter.
